Q&A with Felipe

What do you do at Liquid Violet/what does your job title mean?

Sound Engineer. Basically, working on awesome projects, setting up mics, recording voice over actors, and making sure they sound amazing. 

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Playing video games (action, fps, or kart racers), singing, and hanging out with friends.

What is your biggest work-based accomplishment that you are really proud of?

Being credited in a Dragon Quest game as the creator of characters  

alongside Akira Toriyama. 

What led you to this career?

Recording a few singles with my high school band gave me the exposure to audio engineering. From there I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment business.

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

Instant transmission devices/machines.

What's the best part about your job?

Getting to meet very talented actors, the projects, and my awesome work colleagues.

What was your very first job?

Intern at a music studio watching producers and musicians create jingles for radio and tv.

What other completely different job would you like to do if you weren’t doing this one?

Touring the world with a pop/punk band as the singer.

What could you give a presentation on with no advance warning?

Complete Dragon Ball franchise. It’s just my favourite show.

What is a job that you would be terrible at?!

Anything involving biology or chemistry always seemed like a foreign language to me back in school, and I doubt that's ever going to change! 

What fictional place would you like to visit?

Exploring every nook and cranny of Hogwarts castle and delving into the vast expanse of the wizarding world would be an absolute dream.

If you could become an overnight expert in something, what would it be?

Snowboarder. That is a skill that I would love to be a pro at.

What’s one song that you have completely memorized?

Any Simple Plan song. I’ve got almost all of their complete discography in my head.
