Q&A with Charlie
What do you do at Liquid Violet/what does your job title mean?
I am the Lead audio engineer, it is my job to ensure we record fantastic quality audio for our clients. I am in charge of operating the technology and equipment that we have in place to make the job as easy as possible for the actor, director and client.
What’s the best part about your job?
Working on amazing, high quality projects with awesome people.
What led you to this career?
A life-long obsession with videogames, alongside a long term passion for recording audio.
What other completely different job would you like to do if you weren’t doing this one?
I have always had a great passion for working with animals, and considered working in animal conservation. Maybe when I'm retired!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Playing videogames, golf, cricket, guitar, rock-climbing, Warhammer... too many things!
What fictional place would you like to visit?
The Shire.
What’s one thing that you’ve never done that you would like to do?
High wire tightrope walking.
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
Copies of Super Smash Bro's Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube.
Any hidden talents?
I'm pretty good at juggling.
