What do you do at Liquid Violet/what does your job title mean?

I am a Studio Runner/ Production assistant, so I help the studios run smoothly whilst also putting swans on lattes! I also provide the production team with support in administrative tasks, to get projects from casting all the way through to post.

What's the best part about your job?

The people! Every person I have met has worked on/is a voice in a video game that I’ve enjoyed. It doesn’t hurt that they are all lovely too!

What was your very first job?

I was a kitchen porter and could make stacks of dirty crockery disappear in record speed. I then became a barista in the same cafe and the rest is history.

What led you to this career?

I love video games, I can talk for days, and I am a decent barista!

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

Garlic bread.

What other completely different job would you like to do if you weren’t doing this one?

Professional darts player.

Which team member would you like to swap places with for a day?

I would swap with Zahra to see what it’s like to do the same job, but just a foot shorter.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing video games, golf, and reading fantasy.

What could you give a presentation on with no advance warning?

I could talk about why video game soundtracks are the best genre of music.

What is a job that you would be terrible at?!

I’m not sure it’s a job exactly, but a cave diver. There’s absolutely no need for me to be down there.

What fictional place would you like to visit?

Hyrule. Though any fantasy world that isn’t too dark would do.

What’s one thing that you’ve never done that you would like to do?

A backflip.

If you could become an overnight expert in something, what would it be?

Chess.

Any hidden talents?

II can tie my shoelaces pretty quickly.

What’s one song that you have completely memorized?

Hotel California / the entire Minecraft soundtrack.
