Q&A with Zahra

What do you do at Liquid Violet/what does your job title mean?

I am a Studio Runner / Production Assistant responsible for ensuring that the studio runs smoothly. I prepare studios, look after talent, support the creative team, and make sure everyone has what they need so production flows efficiently.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I am a big League of Legends player - it’s either playing League or watching esports. I also spend a lot of time with my cats, which is the perfect balance to all the gaming.

What's the best part about your job?

Meeting the voices behind the games I love, especially League of Legends!

What led you to this career?

I’m a prop maker at heart, and I love turning ideas into physical things. I’ve always been interested in games, so creativity was kind of inevitable. After freelancing as an artist, this role felt like a natural next step. It lets me stay close to the creative process while being part of a bigger production team.

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

Riot Points, so I could buy every skin in League of Legends!

What was your very first job?

I worked as a bartender/waitress at my local pub. I can make some delicious cocktails!

Which team member would you like to swap places with for a day?

Harry. I would love to be 6 ft tall and reach places that I can't currently!

What form would your daemon take?

My current cat Jasper! Chunky, loyal and a little mischievous.

What could you give a presentation on with no advance warning?

League of Legends Lore.

What other completely different job would you like to do if you weren’t doing this one?

I would continue as a prop maker. I really enjoy the full process, from 3D printing physical pieces to exploring VFX design. Creating things, whether practical or digital, is what I’m most passionate about.

What fictional place would you like to visit?

Runeterra from League of Legends. I would want to see all the lands and experience the world beyond the Rift.

What’s one thing that you’ve never done that you would like to do?

I have never been to a major esports event in person, so I’d love to experience that atmosphere live one day.
